Prevention and road safety education protect the lives of cyclists and pedestrians
Koch International and 13 other Osnabrück forwarders have joined forces in cooperation with the IHK Osnabrück-Emsland-Grafschaft Bentheim, the Gesamtverband Verkehrsgewerbe Niedersachsen e.V. (GVN), the police and the City of Osnabrück to make the traffic situation in the city centre safer. This was established due to recurrent accidents between trucks and cyclists – especially at intersections. Together, the companies developed solutions to improve safety on the roads of Osnabrück in the future.
“Blind spot” campaign
For many years, we have also been supporting road safety education campaigns at kindergartens and schools to draw attention to the dangers of the “blind spot”. Among other things, the children experience the limited field of vision of the driver from the driver’s seat of a truck.
